CARRBORO, N.C. – The Town of Carrboro passed a resolution on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025 promoting the development of adequate affordable housing. Carrboro joins with other regional partners, including the Orange County Board of Health, in recognizing the lack of affordable housing in Orange County as a threat to public health.
The resolution outlines recommendations for local municipalities, including Carrboro, to adjust their land use plans and zoning ordinances.
